Juan Lalinde has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Juan started their career as a Marketing Director at AutoSnack Bogotá S.A in 1997 and then became the Operations Director at the same company in 1998. In this role, they were responsible for budgeting, project execution, supplier negotiations, and team management.
Later, they worked as a Business Analyst and Marketing Analysis Supervisor at National Design Corporation from 2000 to 2006. During this time, they designed and maintained databases, implemented an ERP system, and managed price structures and discounts.
Juan then joined National Pen Corporation as a Customer Satisfaction Manager in 2006, where they studied different business units, organized databases, and designed reporting tools to improve customer satisfaction.
Following that, Lalinde worked at REMEC Defense & Space as a Master Scheduler, where they participated in the planning process, generated reports, and managed data from multiple sources.
Juan also worked as a Consultant at Cobham Sensor Systems, where they redesigned processes and implemented SAP solutions, and as a Consultant at National Design Corporation, where they redesigned reporting tools and reduced processing time.
In 2011, they joined Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions and held multiple roles including Master Scheduler, Demand Manager, and Production Planning Manager. Juan ensured the factory had a build plan, improved scheduling processes, and collaborated with different teams.
From 2018 to 2023, Lalinde worked at Full Swing Simulators as the Director of Supply Planning. Juan oversaw the supply chain and manufacturing teams, increased shipping efficiency, and improved installations of parts and upgrades.
Currently, they hold the position of Director of Strategic Sourcing at Karma Automotive starting in 2023.
Juan Lalinde has a diverse educational background. Juan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 1997. In 2005, they completed an MBA program specializing in International Business and Supply Chain Management from the University of San Diego. In 2013, they earned a certificate in Systems Engineering Management from UC San Diego, and in the same year, they received a certificate of accomplishment in "A Crash Course on Creativity" from Stanford Technology Ventures Program. Additionally, they completed a high school education at Colegio San Bartolomé La Merced from 1990 to 1992. Juan has also pursued further education through various online courses and certifications, such as Lean Production from the Technical University of Munich in 2018 and a certificate of achievement in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies from BerkleyX in 2020. Furthermore, they have obtained multiple certifications in project management, effective communication, leadership, generative AI, inventory management, growth mindset, critical thinking, and data analysis from platforms like Coursera, LinkedIn, and edX.
