Sarah Bigelow

Sarah Bigelow has extensive work experience in the healthcare and research field. Sarah started their career in 2008 as a Medical Data Abstractor at Wayne State University Physician Group (UPG). Sarah then worked as an Executive Assistant at Wayne State University Physician Group in support of the Perinatology Research Branch, NICHD/NIH from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they joined Wayne State University In support of the Perinatology Research Branch NICHD/NIH as a Clinical Program Manager from 2012 to 2014.

Sarah's most recent role was at Karmanos Cancer Institute, where they held various positions. Sarah began as a Clinical Research Coordinator from 2014 to 2017. Sarah then served as a Project Manager, Research Integration from 2017 to 2019, and subsequently became an Operations Manager from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Clinical Trials Office at Karmanos Cancer Institute as of May 2022.

In addition, they obtained the Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) in May 2015.
