Roshni Devchand

Director, Health Communications at Karna Global Technology

Roshni Devchand serves as Karna’s Director of Health Communications. In this role, she bridges Karna’s health communication and research work across all federal programs. Currently, she supports the COVID-19 vaccine promotion efforts for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Roshni brings more than 12 years’ experience in public health programs and campaigns to the organization. Before joining Karna, she led a multi-million dollar health communication and research portfolio at Hager Sharp, Inc., in Washington, D.C. As Vice President, Strategic Planning, Research, and Evaluation, her clients included the CDC’s Division of Cancer Prevention and Control, the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, and the National Center for Immunizations and Respiratory Diseases. She also worked with the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Services, HHS’s Office on Women’s Health, FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, and NIH’s National Diabetes Education Program.

Roshni began her public health career as a Research Coordinator for the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, she worked as a healthcare consultant in hospital administration.

She holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
