Raphael Roman

Raphael is originally from Toronto, Ontario but has spent the last 5 years in Vancouver, British Columbia.

He has extensive experience in youth development and child services, which he has gained through working and managing residential homes and working with the Vancouver School Board. Raphael loves to travel and discover new cultures and new people. His hobbies include hiking, billiards and exploring new cities.

Raphael is an alumnus of the Katimavik program, of which he was a member in 2010. He has travelled and worked all over Canada, and a bit in Europe and Asia.

Raphael also has extensive experience in the hostel industry, where he has learned and adapted to a variety of roles including guide, maintenance staff and manager.

He is a strong advocate for social resilience and is passionate about youth empowerment.
