Kirk Bell

Kirk Bell has over 40 years of work experience, starting with a role in the US Navy as a Senior Enlisted, Medical, Submarines. Kirk then worked as a Technical Director at Global Network Solutions before becoming the Director of Information Technology and Network and Infrastructure Manager at Petroferm Inc. In 2009, Kirk joined Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) as a Network Manager and Senior Systems Analyst. Kirk subsequently worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a GS-14 Lead IT Specialist and then became the Director of Information Technology at International Auto Logistics. Kirk also had a stint as a self-employed IT consultant before working at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation as a Senior Manager and Senior Network Architect. Kirk then worked at Acuity International as the Director of Enterprise IT and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. Currently, Kirk works as the Director of Information Technology at Katmai Government Services. Overall, Kirk has gained extensive experience in various IT leadership roles and has a strong background in infrastructure, cyber security, and compliance.

Kirk Bell has a diverse education history. In 2004, they obtained their MBA in Business Administration and Management from Brenau University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with an Accounting minor from the same university in 2001. Kirk further expanded their knowledge by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology Leadership with CIO & CISO concentrations at the National Defense University from 2010 to 2013. Although they did not complete the program, they succeeded in completing four courses. Additionally, Kirk completed a Master of Science (MS) certificate program in Cybersecurity at the Naval Postgraduate School for a year from 2013 to 2014. In terms of certifications, Kirk has obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2009, the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2009, and the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in 2019.
