Robert Rubeck

Robert Rubeck, CISSP has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Robert is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Katmai Government Services. Prior to this, they founded and managed RC2 security, a premiere information security consulting firm. Robert has also worked as a Senior Manager - Chief Information Security Officer at Octo Consulting Group.

Robert has extensive experience in the federal sector, having served as the CISO - Special Assistant to the CIO at DMI (Digital Management, LLC), where they developed and maintained an information security program for government agencies. Robert also worked at the DoD F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office as the Technology Director, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity, and at the DoD PKI Program Office at DISA as a Senior Principal Information Security Manager.

Furthermore, Robert has held positions such as Lead Information Assurance Manager at the ARMY PEO-EIS PM-P2E, Senior IT Project Manager - Information Assurance at EIM - US ARMY Publishing Directorate (APD), and Enterprise Security Project Manager at TSA. Robert has also worked as a Senior Information Security Consultant at DISA - Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) via Verizon Business.

Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity compliance, risk management, information security governance, and policy development. Robert has a proven track record in leading and managing complex security projects and has been instrumental in obtaining ATOs (Authority to Operate) for various organizations.

Robert Rubeck, CISSP, has a Master's in Business Administration from Averett University, which they obtained in 2015. Robert also has a background in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College, where they studied from 1995 to 1997. In addition to their educational achievements, Robert has obtained several certifications, including Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in 2019 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2003. Robert also holds certifications from Apple, Cisco, CompTIA, and Microsoft.
