Alex VanLaningham

Alex VanLaningham is the current Vice President of Product at Katon Direct. Alex has also founded TrainerDay Inc, which is a small but fast-growing startup for performance cyclists. Alex is passionate about their work and takes great pride in providing a free open sharing platform that is based on the principle of "Train your way, not someone else's." Many cyclists believe that the virtual "Coach Jack" that Alex has created will be the future of optimal, efficient, and personalized training.

Prior to their work at Katon Direct, Alex was a Senior Technical Product Manager at Vistex for 3 years and 4 months. Alex was also a Development Manager at Microsoft for 2 years. Alex has extensive experience in product development and management, and their work has been instrumental in the success of both Katon Direct and TrainerDay Inc.

Alex VanLaningham has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Central Washington University and is a certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
