Jason Rossiter is Of Counsel in the Dallas, Texas office and focuses his law practice on labor and employment.

He represents clients in high-risk employment claims such as wage-and-hour class actions and employment contract disputes. Mr. Rossiter defends businesses in individual and class-action lawsuits, including before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Texas Workforce Commission, and in defense of matters arising out of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Additionally, he creates and negotiates complex executive employment contracts.

Mr. Rossiter provides counsel to his clients on employment law compliance policies and practices to prevent or mitigate liability concerning wages, medical leaves, reasonable accommodations, equal-employment opportunities, employee privacy, union organizing, labor disputes, and unfair competition.

Prior to joining Kaufman Dolowich, Mr. Rossiter served at previous law firms defending EPL, D&O, and other employment lawsuits, performing employment law due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, settling employment claims, and drafting employment policies to comply with rapidly changing State law. Additionally, he provided counsel at for-profit and non-profit entities on business formation, real estate, and handled transactional and compliance matters.
