Giedre Sadeikaite

Giedre Sadeikaite, PhD, serves as an Honorary Collaborator in the Department of Human Geography at Universitat d'Alacant since November 2018 and has held the position of Director of the International Relations Department at Kaunas University of Technology since November 2017, leading a team of 13 in the development of internationalization strategies. Sadeikaite contributed as ECIU University WP Lead on Dissemination and Sustainability from November 2019 to October 2022, facilitating collaboration among partner institutions. Previous roles include Project Manager for Kurk Lietuvai, Researcher at the World Tourism Organization, and various positions in international organizations and institutions focusing on sustainable tourism, project management, and capacity development. Sadeikaite holds a PhD in Local Development and Territorial Innovation from Universitat d'Alacant, an MSc in International Business from the University of Ljubljana, and a Master of Arts in Comparative Local Development from Università di Trento.
