Behzad Karami

Behzad Karami is an accomplished mining and geotechnical engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as the Head of the Technical Office in the supervisory team at Kavoshgaran Consulting Engineers since May 2022, Behzad specializes in the supervision of iron mining operations at Sabanour. Previously, from July 2018 to May 2022, Behzad worked as a Mine Design Specialist at Madan Zamin Consultant Engineering, focusing on the Angouran Zinc and Lead Open Pit & Underground Mine. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Project Control Specialist at Amin Industrial and Mining Holding, where responsibilities encompassed monitoring civil engineering operations and geotechnical engineering tasks. Behzad also contributed as a Geotechnical Engineer at Taha Consultant Engineers, participating in significant geological engineering studies. Education includes a Master’s degree in Mining Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Kurdistan.
