Finnegan Nguyen

Finnegan Nguyen has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current position at KBRA as a Team Lead in Rating Operations. In this role, they lead a team in assessing business and data needs, conducting data auditing, and analyzing root causes. Finnegan is proficient in MySQL and Python, using these skills to extract custom queries and identify data anomalies. Finnegan is also skilled in managing time-sensitive deliverables and contributing to data governance procedures. Prior to KBRA, Finnegan worked as a Technology Data Steward. Additionally, they have experience as a Programmer/Analyst, where they designed and programmed experiments and conducted exploratory and statistical analysis. Finnegan has also worked as a Physics Lab Assistant and a Research Assistant at Manhattan College, as well as a Data Analyst at CERN.

Finnegan Nguyen obtained a Master's degree in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from Hunter College from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Manhattan College between 2014 and 2018. Additionally, Finnegan has obtained several certifications including "Data Analysis with Python" and "Python for Data Science and AI" from Coursera in October 2019 and August 2019 respectively. Finnegan also completed a certification in "SQL for Data Science" from Coursera in August 2019.
