Kaveh Houshmand Azad

Kaveh Houshmand Azad has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations. Kaveh began their career at Advanced Structures Inc. in 2002, where they worked as a Senior Quality Engineer until 2005. Kaveh then moved on to Ducommun AeroStructures as a Senior Quality Engineer for a year. From 2006 to 2008, they served as a Quality Engineer and Quality Manager at Catalytic Solutions, Inc. Following that, they joined NSF International in 2003 as a Quality Management System Lead Auditor, a role they held until 2012.

In 2008, Kaveh joined Providence Health & Services, where they worked as an Operational Excellence- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt until 2013. Kaveh then joined UC Irvine Health as an Ambulatory Performance Improvement Program Manager from 2013 to 2014. In 2011, they also became a Member of the Board of Examiners at the Baldrige National Performance Excellence Program. Later in 2014, they started working at Keck Medicine of USC as the Director of Operating System, leading organizational initiatives and collaborating on change management.

Additionally, throughout this period, Kaveh Houshmand Azad worked as an Adjunct Faculty at California State University, Northridge starting in 2009. Overall, they have a strong background in quality management, operational excellence, and performance improvement.

Kaveh Houshmand Azad is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Organizational Leadership at the University of Southern California. In 2006 to 2008, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from California State University, Northridge.
