General Summary

The Sales Planner I is responsible for improving the consumer experience and drives sales and profitability by analyzing consumer trends for Key Accounts.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Minimizes lost sales due to inventory availability through accurate forecasting.
  • Analyzes strategic metrics including dollar and unit sell-through sales, weeks of supply, average unit retail, door count grading, brick and mortar vs. ecommerce sales.
  • Develops and communicates ongoing sales reporting (sales results, promotional tracking, marketing effectiveness, etc.).
  • Evaluates emerging trends, rationale, and competitive landscape to drive enhancements to current business practices. Develops emerging strategies to grow market segment share.
  • Develops forecasting model through use of historical data, current trends and input of Key Account managers.
  • Develop and utilize holistic sell in and sell through tolls and analysis to ensure health of sales to stock, create strong top selling trend, chase models to ensure investment in the right purchase for the future, and set strategy for future seasons/year
  • Manage account SPS reports, provide training and support for Sales team, and act as lead on ad-hoc analysis needed for internal sell thru reviews to support sell-in and internal strategy creation
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining top Franchise Ladders to manage inventory levels and business health across US market

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required with a focus in business, finance, economics, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum three years of experience in in merchandise planning/buying, ecommerce vendor management, business analysis, or brand management preferrable within the industry.
  • Prior experience with managing inventory plans for Key Accounts
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and in front of large audiences.
  • Ability to learn a varied set of tools.
  • Ability to perform a regression analysis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications including ability to create reports with database and/or spreadsheets (must have strong Excel skills including: V/Xlookup, pivot tables).
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and incorporating excel charts to build story-telling visuals.
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to synthesize large sets of data and develop creative and innovative solutions in an entrepreneurial environment.

Base Salary: $71,636 - $75,000 yearly 
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
