Scientist Emeritus at Kemp Proteins

Christopher Kemp is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in leadership roles within the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors. Currently serving as Scientist Emeritus and Chief Scientific Officer at Kemp Proteins since January 2019, Christopher previously held the position of President at Kempbio, Inc. from 2009 to 2018, and acted as Director of R&D at HepaLife Technologies in 2008. Christopher also led Kemp Biotechnologies, Inc. as President from 1992 to 2007 and managed research at BioWhittaker from 1985 to 1992. Early career experience includes working as an Independent Researcher at the National Institutes of Health from 1976 to 1985. Christopher holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, an MS in Biomedical Sciences from Hood College, and a BS in Microbiology from the University of Maryland.
