Solange Backes

Solange Backes has a diverse work experience spanning over 24 years. Solange recently worked as a Director of Accounting at Kemper since August 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at Vaco, where they held the position of Accounting and Reporting from June 2020 to May 2023. Their role as Controller at Village Management Services, Inc. lasted from September 2016 to May 2018. Solange also served as the Financial Services Manager at Orange County Superior Court from June 2012 to September 2016, managing a department responsible for recording and reconciling revenue and overseeing large trust deposits. Solange worked as an Accounting Manager at Pacific Life from June 2006 to May 2012, and before that, as a Sr Accountant at Anderson Financial Corporation from February 2003 to May 2006. Solange had the role of Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank from January 2000 to February 2003 and started their career as a Consultant at JPMorgan Chase from May 1999 to January 2000.

Solange Backes received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Solange also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy, obtained in 2006.
