Alex appreciates the significance of his role beyond the big numbers involved. He knows a mortgage is one of the most significant financial decisions a person ever makes, and there’s a great deal of stress involved. As Alex works out of the York, Hannaford Drive branch as an originator of residential mortgages of all types, he knows lenders and potential homeowners rely on him to make sure the process goes smoothly. It may sound stressful, but Alex has always known he’s wanted to be in mortgages; he began his career in a temporary position at a mortgage company right out of college and never looked back. “There’s nothing better than seeing so many parties involved work together to get everything done on time and in a smooth fashion,” he explains.

Alex loves the “small-town feel” of his community and takes great pride in working for a company and with employees who give back on so many different levels. In his free time, you’ll find him outside enjoying all the seasons, whether he’s fishing, biking, skiing, or playing a round of golf.
