Colette Clayton

Colette Clayton is an experienced litigation solicitor with a specialization in Transport law, Defamation, Breach of contract, Health and Safety, and Debt recovery. Currently serving as an Associate at Kennedys since October 2024, Colette previously held the same title at Wotton + Kearney from September 2021 to October 2024 and worked as an Intermediate Solicitor and Solicitor at the Financial Markets Authority in New Zealand from February 2019 to October 2024. Additionally, Colette has experience as a Morning Research Publisher at First New Zealand Capital and as a Solicitor at Gibson Sheat Lawyers. Colette's early career included roles as a Law Clerk and Office Administrator, and a Summer Law Clerk. Colette holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington, completed in 2018, and attended Epsom Girls Grammar.
