Chad Teat

Chad Teat is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Cybersecurity Services at Bitfire Security since February 2020. In addition to this role, Chad has been an adjunct professor at Kennesaw State University since August 2015 and previously taught at Southern Polytechnic State University. Prior experience includes serving as CISO at Floor & Decor and leading cybersecurity operations at Kimberly-Clark, where significant responsibility included overseeing cybersecurity for an international organization. Chad's extensive background in cybersecurity also encompasses roles at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services, EDS, and The Home Depot, focusing on security architecture, risk management, and IT security engineering. Chad holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Information Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.
