Brian Barasch

Brian Barasch has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications roles. Brian is currently the Director of External Affairs and Communications at Kent State University, where they provide leadership in defining and marketing the Arts and Sciences brand. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at Final Sentence Communications. Brian has also served as the Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Moishe House, where they played a crucial role in enhancing the organization's market position. Brian has also held marketing and communications roles at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School, DePaul University School of Music, Marwen, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Victory Gardens Theater. Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, brand development, crisis communications, and team leadership.

Brian Barasch obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus in Theatre Management from DePaul University in the years 2005-2009. Brian later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago between 2019 and 2021.
