Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Matthew started their career in 2001 as an Operations Manager at Allstate Financial, where they were responsible for the performance and leadership of department operations. During this time, they implemented process improvement initiatives that resulted in increased business, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

In 2014, Matthew became a Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at COR Clearing LLC, where they provided compliance advice and oversight to multiple broker dealers. Matthew actively engaged with business process owners to ensure effective compliance programs and address regulatory risks.

Matthew also has experience in the healthcare industry, serving as a Chaplain Intern at CHI Health in 2014 and as a Chaplain at Children's Hospital & Medical Center - Omaha from 2016 to 2018. In these roles, they provided pastoral care to patients, family members, and staff, and collaborated with local clergy and ministers.

Matthew has also worked in the financial services sector, serving as the Vice President of Operations at Carson Wealth Management Group from 2015 to 2017. In this role, they managed over $4.3 billion in assets under management for select families, business owners, professional athletes, and institutions.

In 2018, they joined Kestra Financial as the Director of Advertising Compliance. Their responsibilities in this role include ensuring compliance with advertising regulations and managing compliance programs.

Prior to their career in finance and healthcare, Matthew served as a Behavioral Health Non-Commissioned Officer in the Texas Army National Guard. Matthew managed and treated in/outpatient mental health activities and worked with a wide range of clientele, including service members, civilians, incarcerated individuals, and those involved in legal matters.

Matthew Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Terrorism Studies from American Military University in 2012. Matthew went on to complete a Master of Divinity degree in Divinity/Ministry from Regent University in 2016.
