Mercedes Oliva

Mercedes Oliva is an experienced professional with a diverse background in product design, UX/UI design, art direction, and photography. Mercedes is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Keyway since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PayPal as a Senior UX Designer from May 2021 to December 2022. Before that, Mercedes had roles as a Senior UX Designer at Inviu from May 2020 to May 2021, and at Globant from February 2020 to May 2020. Mercedes also served as a Senior UX/UI Designer at Mercadolibre.com from December 2016 to February 2020, and as a UX/UI Designer at Codamation from August 2015 to December 2016. In addition, Mercedes worked as an Art Director at FictionCity.net from October 2009 to December 2016, and at Liga Nacional de Basquetbol - Asociación de Clubes from October 2014 to April 2016. Mercedes also pursued freelance photography under their own name from 2009 to 2014. Mercedes's diverse background includes experience in sales representation and graphic design, as they briefly worked as a Sales Representative and Graphic Designer at Fine Food Australia in September 2013.

Mercedes Oliva has a diverse education history. Mercedes first attended the Universidad Nacional de La Plata from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a degree in Visual Communication Design with a focus on Graphic Design and Fine Arts. In 2009, they pursued an Art Direction program at Espacio Buenos Aires. Following that, they completed a Professional Photography course at the Asociación de Fotógrafos Profesionales de la República Argentina in 2008. In 2013, they enrolled in an Intensive Level 3 English program at Berlitz. The same year, they also acquired skills in Barismo Integral y Arte Latte at Centros de Estudios del Café and in Barista training at the Royal Gurkhas Institute of Australia (RGIT). More recently, in 2016, Mercedes undertook a web design program at Coderhouse, where they obtained a certification as a Level 1 Web Designer.
