David Hicks

David Hicks is an accomplished photo editor with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Contract Photo Editor for Kaiser Health News since March 2019, David has previously held similar positions at AARP and National Geographic. Additionally, David has experience in education as an Adjunct Faculty member at Boston University's Center For Digital Imaging Arts. Prior roles include Senior Photo Editor at Washingtonian Magazine and Deputy Photo Editor at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK. David began a career in photo editing at washingtonpost.com and spent time at The White House in the same capacity. David obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design between 1976 and 1980.
