Céline Brochard

Vice President Power Renewables Water at KfW IPEX-Bank

Céline Brochard has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles in the finance and renewable energy sectors. Céline started their career as a Junior Auditor with Mazars in 2008 before moving on to work as an Assistant Project Manager with ENGIE in 2009. Céline then completed an internship as a Portfolio Management Analyst with VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT EOLFI in 2010.

In 2010, Céline joined ENGIE as an International Management Trainee, where they served as a Finance and Business Development Analyst until 2013. Following this, they worked as a Senior Economic and Financial Consultant at Castalia from 2013 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2018, Céline held the position of Senior Officer in Project Finance for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency at Finance in Motion. In this role, they identified investment opportunities and structured financing for renewable energy projects in multiple countries.

Since 2018, Céline has been working at KfW IPEX-Bank. Céline initially served as Vice President in the Maritime Industries sector, managing a loan portfolio of over EUR 8.0 billion. Céline'sresponsibilities included negotiating loan agreements, coordinating loan disbursements, and managing relationships with Export Credit Agencies. In March 2021, Céline assumed the role of Vice President in the Power, Renewables & Water sector.

Céline's work experience highlights their expertise in project finance, renewable energy, and financial analysis.

Céline Brochard obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Political Sciences from Freie Universität Berlin, where they attended from 2006 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Strategic Management with a major in International Business Studies at Sciences Po, completing their studies from 2004 to 2010.
