Derek Shaw

Derek Shaw has a diverse work experience, spanning various industries and positions. Derek started their career as the Chief Operations Officer at ParrishShaw in 2003 and held this role until 2016. In 2016, they transitioned to Advanced Patient Advocacy, where they served as the Vice President | Recovery Services until 2017. Following this, they joined Katz Coffee as the Director Of Business Development from 2017 to 2019.

In 2020, Derek took the role of President & Co-founder at INVICTA HEALTH SOLUTIONS, leveraging their 20 years of experience in the healthcare revenue cycle industry. Derek was responsible for all operational and financial functions of the organization until 2023.

In 2023, Derek became the Vice President of Innovation & Strategy at KG Hawes, where they focused on driving innovation and strategic initiatives. Currently, they hold the position of President at MetaLynx, which they assumed in 2024.

Derek Shaw has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance & Management from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, which they attained from 2009 to 2011. Derek also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing & Finance from the same university, earned from 2000 to 2003.
