Andrew Hayes

Andrew Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andrew is currently working as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Good Parents Inc/Kiddo. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at Intellihealth, where they drove process improvement initiatives and led the DevOps transformation effort. Andrew also worked as the Director - Head of Engineering at Babyscripts, where they led the transition to an in-house engineering team and maintained relationships with security and contractor vendors.

Before that, Andrew worked at Capital One as the Product Manager/Owner, DevOps & Automation (Sr. Manager) - DevOps Lead Engineer, leading the development effort with internal tooling teams and providing technical guidance to agile teams.

Andrew also gained experience at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Sr. Solutions Architect and Lead Engineer, where they provided program architectural guidance and managed migration projects. Andrew has a background in software/systems engineering and has worked on projects for the US Navy Shipboard Systems.

Earlier in their career, Andrew worked as an Application Designer/Systems Engineer, Technical Lead on an IBM contract at JB Management, Inc. and as a Software Engineer at Jacobs Technology. Andrew also served as a Technology Integration Specialist at the Center For Business and Economic Research and as a SER Tech at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated expertise in engineering management, system architecture, process improvement, and DevOps transformation. Andrew has successfully led transitions to in-house teams, guided cloud migrations, and contributed to the development of large-scale systems.

Andrew Hayes has a Master's degree in E-Commerce Technology from DePaul University. Andrew also attended the DePaul University-Institute for Professional Development, where they studied Big Data. Andrew obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Communication and the other in Sociology, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, they pursued a Minor in Business Administration, Management and Operations at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
