Tyler Montgomery, M.Ed

Tyler Montgomery, M.Ed has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Tyler began their career as an Elementary School Teacher in 2010, teaching Exceptional Education Students, English Language Learners, Gifted Learners, and Adult learners through school-based Professional Development. During this time, they also supported the creation of a master calendar, schoolwide goals, and community involvement.

In 2016, Tyler took on the role of a Music Teacher, organizing fundraisers for the Arts Department and managing multiple concerts for students aged 9-11. Tyler also produced and directed a musical involving 70 5th grade students.

Tyler then transitioned into a Teacher on Special Assignment role in 2020. In this position, they designed, built, and facilitated virtual trainings for teachers and administration in the Palm Beach County School District. Tyler also provided support and guidance to teachers in the Glades Region, focusing on growth and teacher retention. Tyler is an expert in technology, eLearning systems, and the Google for Education platform as a certified trainer.

As of 2021, Tyler serves as a Learning Facilitator in The School District of Palm Beach County. Tyler is part of the Leadership team and oversees weekly meetings with 6 grade levels to support English Language Arts. Additionally, they facilitate professional development sessions, creates and modifies lessons and resources, and provides behavioral support.

Most recently, Tyler joined Kiddom in 2022 as an Instructional Designer. In this role, they collaborate with the Instructional Design team to create presentations, anchor charts, and protocol resources that support teachers with lesson teaching and planning. Tyler also provides expertise in Instructional Design and curriculum, with a focus on Expeditionary Learning and Open Up Resource needs. Tyler meets with their team regularly to provide support, manage needs, and enhance the experience for teachers and administrators using Kiddom's platform.

Tyler Montgomery, M.Ed has a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, which they obtained from Florida Atlantic University from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same university, studying from 2008 to 2010.
