Renal Dietitian at Kidney Nutrition Institute

Lydia Safadi, MA, RD, LDN, is a skilled renal dietitian with extensive experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics. Currently serving as a renal dietitian at The Kidney RD since August 2020, Lydia focuses on optimizing dietary practices for chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients to enhance their kidney health and overall quality of life. Since August 2012, Lydia has also worked at Fresenius Medical Care North America as a kidney care advocate, providing dietary counseling and education for individuals with advanced CKD. Lydia's previous roles include serving as a clinical dietitian at Care Pavilion, a nutritionist for the Philadelphia WIC Program, and an outpatient registered dietitian at Clalit Health Services in Israel. Lydia holds a Master of Arts in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from Tel Hai Academic College, Israel.
