Strategy & Business Improvement Director - Kier Transportation at Kier

Louise McMahon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Louise is currently the Strategy & Business Improvement Director at Kier Group, where they focus on developing and strengthening the company's strategies. Prior to this, they held various positions at Kier Group, including Head of Strategy & Business Improvement and Business Integration Manager.

In addition to their work at Kier Group, McMahon also served as an Ambassador and Foundation Board Member at the Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW), where they contributed to increasing member involvement and engagement.

Before joining Kier Group and ICW, McMahon worked at Virgin Trains East Coast as a Business Excellence Manager and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Programme Manager. Louise also worked at The DLNR CRC Ltd as a Project Manager Office, Complaints, PAM Trainer, Internal Communications Coordinator, Intranet Manager, and Delius Officer Diary Trainer.

Earlier in their career, McMahon held the position of Business Improvement Manager at The DLNR CRC Ltd (Reducing Reoffending Partnership) and DLNR CRC Probation. Louise also worked as a Trainer at Derbyshire Probation Trust and County Office Services Manager at the National Probation Service. Overall, McMahon has demonstrated strong skills in strategy development, business improvement, project management, and collaboration.

Louise McMahon obtained their GCSE's from Moorfield Hall, Bolsover, between the years 1988 and 1994. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from Process Management International (PMI) in 2020, Implementing ISO 44001:2017 Training Course and Requirements and Migration to ISO 44001:2017 Training Course from the British Standards Institute Training Academy in 2017, EFQM Assessor certification from the British Quality Foundation in 2015, and Nebosh certification from NEBOSH.
