Aidan Farrelly

Aidan Farrelly has a diverse background in education and community service, currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer at Maynooth University since March 2024 and previously in the same role from October 2020 to May 2023. Additionally, Aidan holds a position as a Council Member at Kildare County Council since May 2019 and worked as the Higher Education and Research Officer at the National Youth Council of Ireland between May 2023 and March 2024. Aidan’s earlier experience includes roles as Team Lead at Kildare Youth Services and Development Officer for Volunteer Lead Services at Foroige. Aidan holds a Doctor of Social Sciences degree from Maynooth University and previously completed a Master of Social Science in Community and Youth Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies.
