Gerard Murphy

Gerard Murphy is an experienced financial professional with a diverse background in various leadership roles. Since July 2022, Gerard has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Kimball Union Academy. Prior to this position, Gerard held the title of Director of Finance at the New Hampshire Retirement System from January 2019 to June 2022. Experience also includes serving as Treasurer and Comptroller for Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket Steamship Authority, and Associate Vice President for Finance at Keene State College. Earlier roles included State Comptroller for the State of New Hampshire, Governor's Budget Director under Governor Maggie Hassan, and Budget Analyst for the New Hampshire Legislature. Gerard's career began as an Auditor at Melanson Heath & Company and a Budget Analyst for NYC Parks and Recreation. Gerard holds a Master's degree in Accountancy from Baruch College and completed undergraduate studies at Bates College.
