Niels Joaquin

Niels Joaquin is an accomplished data science and engineering leader, currently serving as the Data Science and Engineering Lead at Kimberly-Clark since May 2024. Prior to this role, Niels was the VP of Data Science and Data Engineering at Thinx Inc., where strategic initiatives included the development of multi-touch attribution and media mix models to optimize substantial marketing budgets, integration of NetSuite with Snowflake and Looker for enhanced executive reporting, and advancing retail data capabilities for a digitally native company. Niels' previous experience includes key positions at Maven Clinic as Sr. Director of Data Science, founding the data science team at Care/of as VP of Data Science, and holding various roles at FiftyThree Inc., Bonobos, Groupon, and academic research positions at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Kellogg School of Management, and Harvard University. Niels holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University.
