Seth Malmersjo

Seth Malmersjo has a strong background in scientific research and has held various roles in prestigious institutions. Seth began their career as a Postdoc at Karolinska Institutet in 2009, where they worked until the end of the year. Seth then joined Stanford University in 2010 as a Postdoc, staying there for six years. In 2016, Malmersjo moved to NGM Biopharmaceuticals, starting as a Scientist and progressing to the role of Senior Scientist. In 2022, they became a Principal Scientist at NGM Biopharmaceuticals, a position they held until mid-2023. Currently, they are a Senior Principal Scientist at Kimia Therapeutics, a position they started in mid-2023. Malmersjo's expertise lies in scientific research and they have gained significant experience and skills throughout their career.

Seth Malmersjo holds a Ph.D. from Karolinska Institutet, which they completed from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. This degree was earned between 2001 and 2003. Earlier in their educational journey, Seth earned another M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 1997 to 2001. During their time at Lund University, Seth also spent a year at Universidad Simón Bolívar in 1999-2000, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Seth Malmersjo obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University through Coursera in May 2018.
