Tim Kalus

Tim Kalus has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Tim is currently the Director of Health, Safety, and Environmental at Kimray, Inc., where they collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement HSE strategies. Prior to this, they worked as an HSE Manager at Continental Resources, focusing on consolidation and transition within the Powder River Business Unit.

Tim has also held various leadership positions at Chesapeake Energy, where they oversaw environmental compliance and field safety in the Northern region. Tim was responsible for implementing cost-saving measures and managing inventory collection.

Before working at Chesapeake Energy, Tim worked at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as an HSE Supervisor, where they played a significant role in developing programs related to environmental compliance.

Additionally, Tim has worked at Western Gas Resources as a Senior Water Resources Coordinator, leading water management and environmental compliance efforts. Tim also worked as a Project Manager at Greystone Environmental Consultants, where they developed water management plans and implemented GIS mapping programs.

Tim's earlier work experience includes roles such as GIS Resource Specialist at Lake DeSmet Conservation Service, Soil Conservation Technician at USDA, and Forestry Technician at U.S. Forest Service.

Tim Kalus holds a Master's of Science degree in Rangeland Ecology & Watershed Management from the University of Wyoming, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology from the same university, completing their studies between 1991 and 1996. Additionally, Tim has obtained several certifications including being a Certified Safety Environmental & Emergency Manager (obtained in 2013), a Certified Natural Resource Manager (obtained in 2013), and a Registered Environmental Manager (obtained in 2012), among others.
