Katie Hocking has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Katie is currently working at Kin + Carta, where they have held the positions of Principal Product Strategy Consultant, Director of Solution Delivery, and is currently serving as the Director of Product.

Prior to that, they worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas, where they held roles such as Senior Product Manager and Product Practice Lead, Digital, Product Owner, Lead Consultant for Digital Marketing Strategy, and Media and Public Relations Specialist.

Before that, they worked at WTTW as an Assignment Editor and Segment Producer for "Chicago Tonight," Music Segment Producer for "Chicago Tonight," Web Content Producer for "Biking the Boulevards with Geoffrey Baer," and Producer & Marketing Manager for On-Air Fundraising.

Katie also worked at 98.7 WFMT as a Development Operations Coordinator, and at Lyric Opera of Chicago as a Donor Services and Special Events Coordinator.

Katie Hocking holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music: Conducting and Directing from Columbia College Chicago. Katie has also obtained certifications in REST API Design, Development and Management from Udemy in 2021, Community Management Advanced Skills from The Community Roundtable and WOMMA in 2013, Social Media Community Strategist from WOMMA in 2012, and Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E) and Certified Agile Leadership for Orgs (CAL-O) from Scrum Alliance in June 2021.
