Katie Hahn is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in transforming educational environments and fostering community engagement. As Co-Founder of Kindle Education since July 2021, Katie is spearheading the launch of a public charter school in Jersey City, NJ. Previous roles include serving as a Fellow at BES, where Katie focused on developing educational leaders, and as an Essentials Fellow at 4.0, which promotes equitable educational models. Katie’s diverse experience encompasses leadership in community schools, program management at the NYC Department of Education, and impactful contributions as Community School Director at Grand Street Settlement, significantly improving student outcomes. Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from Harvard University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from High Tech High Graduate School of Education, and a Master of Social Work from New York University.
