Dawn Treybig Coufal

Dawn Treybig Coufal has extensive work experience in the field of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management and sustainability. Dawn is currently the VP of Sustainability at Kinetik, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Sr. Director of EHS & ESG at Midcoast Energy starting in August 2018.

Before joining Midcoast Energy, Dawn held various managerial roles in environmental management at companies such as American Midstream, LP, where they worked as the Manager of Environmental from February 2017 to August 2018, and PennTex Midstream Partners, where they served as the EHS & Compliance Manager from February 2015 to December 2016.

Dawn also gained experience in EHS and permitting management while working at Kinder Morgan as the EHS/Permitting Manager from May 2013 to February 2015 and Copano Energy as the Manager of Environmental from November 2012 to February 2015.

Prior to their roles in the energy sector, Dawn started their career as an Air Quality Specialist at Southern Union Gas Services, Ltd. from October 2010 to November 2012. Dawn then worked as an Environmental Investigator at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality from October 2008 to October 2010.

Dawn began their career as a Chemist at Trace Analysis from June 2007 to October 2008. Throughout their career, they have developed a strong expertise in environmental regulations, compliance management, and sustainability practices.

Dawn Treybig Coufal attended Sealy High School for their secondary education, although no specific dates were provided. Dawn then went on to Texas A&M University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, Conservation & Biodiversity from the Department of Wildlife & Fisheries Science. Their studies at Texas A&M concluded in 2006.
