Christopher Scarlett has over 20 years of work experience in the media and broadcasting industry. Christopher started their career as a Studio Crew member at KCTS 9 in 1997 and then moved on to Tribune Broadcasting, where they worked in the Master Control role. In 1999, they joined KING 5 Media Group as a Broadcast Engineer, responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the broadcast systems. Over the years, they progressed within the company, holding roles such as Technology Crew Chief, Supervisor of Technology and Operations, and currently, they serve as the Head of Technology & Operations, overseeing the IT department and implementing technology strategies to support business objectives. Throughout their career, Christopher has demonstrated leadership skills, training and mentoring team members, and staying up-to-date with industry advancements to improve system performance and reliability.

Christopher Scarlett earned their Bachelor's degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology/Technician from California State University, Northridge. This educational achievement took place from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Adult First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in May 2018.
