Faisal Alzahrani

Faisal Alzahrani is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in anesthesia, currently serving as the Program Director for the Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship and as a Cardiac & Pediatric Anesthesia Consultant at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre since July 2020. Faisal has been actively involved with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as an examiner and member of the scientific committee for various anesthesia fellowship programs since November 2020. Previous positions include a Cardiac Anesthesia and Perioperative TEE Fellow at Dalhousie University and a Pediatric Anesthesia Fellow at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Faisal completed clinical fellowships at the University of Ottawa and pediatric anesthesia training at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, following an anesthesiology residency at the same institution. Education includes dual fellowships in Cardiac Anesthesia and Perioperative Echocardiography from Dalhousie University and a Pediatric Anesthesia fellowship from the University of Ottawa, complemented by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from King AbdulAziz University.
