Valerie Wheatley

Valerie Wheatley has over 25 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Valerie began their career as the Director of Management and Financial Analysis at the Center for Governmental Research in 1994. From 1997 to 1999, they served as the Principal Staff Assistant to the Deputy Mayor at the City of Rochester. Valerie then joined the Rochester, NY City School District as the Budget Director from 2000 to 2001. In 2001, they became the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer at YWCA Greater Pittsburgh. In 2010, Valerie took on the role of President and CEO at YWCA Restaurant Franchise Inc. Their most recent position was as the Chief Operating Officer of Clover New Orleans, where they provided internal leadership and executive oversight of finance, programs, and services.
