John Zicker

John Zicker has over 25 years of experience in data science, business intelligence, and cybersecurity. John is currently the Data Science Vice President at Kinsa and a Board Member at Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). Previously, they were the Chief Data Scientist at conDati, Inc. from 2018 to 2020, where they created and delivered machine learning solutions for marketing challenges including forecasting, anomaly detection, impact analysis, channel and campaign optimization. John also applied Bayesian techniques to time series modeling and belief networks. From 2016 to 2018, they were the CEO of Amplion Inc., a company focused on precision medicine. From 2014 to 2016, they were the COO of Vree Health, a platform that aggregates, analyzes, and utilizes disparate data sources to help coordinate care across providers. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Co-Founder of Corporate Venture Agility. From 2010 to 2012, they were the Fellow at Bell Mason Group, where they provided entrepreneurial management services to corporate venture units. From 2010 to 2011, they were the CEO of CrossLoop, an online marketplace for technical professionals to provide remote support to consumers and small businesses. From 2001 to 2010, they were the CEO of Sana Security, a cybersecurity venture using anomaly detection algorithms for intrusion detection. Finally, from 1995 to 2001, they were the CTO of Sagent Technology, a business intelligence company providing data-mart building, reporting and analytical tools.

John Zicker holds a MSEE in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
