Casey Chon's work experience includes being a 5th Grade History Teacher at KIPP Public Schools Northern California since 2023. Prior to that, Casey worked as a Teacher-Author and Teach for Justice Grant Recipient at Teachers Pay Teachers from 2020 to 2021. Casey Chon holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Teaching a Modern Foreign Language, Arabic from Boston University, which was obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, Casey obtained a Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language and Literature from Hampshire College, which was completed from 2014 to 2018. Casey also attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an Arabic, Persian, and Turkish Language Immersion Institute Student for one year in 2016. Furthermore, Casey obtained a High School Diploma from The Masters School. In terms of additional certifications, Casey completed "The Teacher and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)" course from Coursera in April 2020. Casey also obtained a certification in Teaching Arabic as a Modern Foreign Language from the Massachusetts Department of Education in June 2019.
