Karen-Symone Lee

Karen-Symone Lee has diverse work experience in various organizations. Karen-Symone began their career as a Personal Shopper at Amazon in 2018 and worked there until 2020. In 2019, they joined the Tenderloin Merchants and Property Owners Association as an Assistant Marketing Manager, where they improved product marketing objectives and collaborated with cross-functional teams to create effective branding strategies.

Karen-Symone also worked at Aspire Public Schools, firstly as a Co-Teacher from 2020-2021 and then as a Teacher from 2021-2022. In these roles, they contributed to the academic development of students and collaborated with other educators.

Prior to that, Karen-Symone served as an Academic Affairs Assistant/Industrial Design Communications Specialist at California College of the Arts from 2016-2020. In this position, they gained experience in managing academic affairs and communicating design concepts effectively.

Karen-Symone'smost recent experience includes working as a Founding Art Teacher at KIPP Public Schools Northern California since 2022. Karen-Symone developed an art curriculum from scratch, collaborated with other teachers to implement cross-curricular projects, and tailored teaching methods to meet the needs of middle school-age students.

Throughout their career, Karen-Symone has demonstrated their ability to collaborate effectively, develop and implement strategies, and adapt their skills to various educational and marketing environments.

Karen-Symone Lee obtained their Bachelor's degree in Illustration from the California College of the Arts between 2016 and 2020. Following that, they pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Education from the Alder Graduate School of Education between 2020 and 2021.
