Gokul Murali began their work experience in 2014 as a Network Engineer at Microland Limited. In this role, they managed DNS/DHCP services for clients and handled incidents and calls related to network and DNS issues. Gokul also troubleshooted and fixed problems using specific tools and remotely logged into Linux servers.
In 2016, Gokul joined IBM India Private Limited as a Technical Engineer. Here, they interacted with different Resolver Teams to ensure the resolution of tickets and provided support to clients on issues ranging from password resets to hardware replacements.
In 2018, Gokul joined Murphy Belton Consulting Engineers Ltd as a Graduate Electrical Engineer.
From 2019 to the present, Gokul has been working at Kirby Group Engineering as an Electrical Project Engineer. In this role, they have managed LV/MV Switchgear vendors for a large scale Datacentre project and worked with testers and commissioning agents to bring the system to the commissioning and handover stage.
Gokul Murali completed their Master's degree in Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems from Technological University Dublin in the years 2017-2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SASTRA University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.
In addition to their formal education, Gokul Murali has also obtained two certifications. Gokul received the "6S0953 QQI Level 6 (Special Purpose) Award in Emergency Lighting Commissioning" certification from TECHNOTRAINING in December 2021. Gokul also obtained the "QQI Level 6 6S0955 Emergency Lighting Design" certification from the same institution in the same month and year.
