Ben Cheatham

Co-Founder and CTO at Kiss & Tell

Ben Cheatham has worked in the engineering industry for over 15 years. In 2021, they began their current role as Software Engineering Manager at Artera, a patient engagement platform. Ben also serves as Senior Software Engineer at Artera, where they work to facilitate secure, interactive text conversations. Prior to this, they were Co-Founder and CTO and Vice President of Engineering at Kiss & Tell from 2019 to 2021. From 2009 to 2020, they were Owner Principal at Innovative Voices, where they specialized in brand development and web site UI. Ben also held software engineering roles at Axiom and General UI from 2020 to 2017. Before that, they were a Customer Service Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, and Mechanical Hydraulics Engineer at Boeing from 2005 to 2009.

Ben Cheatham attended the University of Oklahoma from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a degree in Engineering. In 2016, they completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive program at Hack Reactor. Ben also holds several certifications, including a Triplebyte certified Front End Engineer from Triplebyte (obtained in November 2018), an AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) (obtained in July 2019), a Graph Search, Shortest Paths, and Data Structures certification from Stanford University (obtained in March 2017), a Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms certification from Stanford University (obtained in February 2017), and an Affiliate Marketing Fundamentals certification from lynda.com (obtained in July 2015).
