Dr. Frank Schlichting obtained their Abitur/A-Levels/High school diploma from Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium between 1978 and 1987. Dr. Frank then pursued a Diploma in Physics (MA) specializing in Applied nuclear solid state Physics at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1989 to 1995. In 1993, they took part in a research sojourn at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Physics. Subsequently, Dr. Schlichting enrolled at Technische Universität Berlin, where they completed their Dr.-Ing. degree in Engineering & Applied Physics from 1995 to 1999. During this time, they also conducted a research sojourn at Lomonossov University Moscow in 1997-1998, primarily in the field of Physics.
