Alex Oswald

Alex Oswald has a long history of work experience, beginning with a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Victoria in 2011. Alex then worked as a Tutor for the Resource Center for Students with Disabilities in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for the University of Victoria and CIRANO, as well as a Research Associate for the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. Alex also worked as a Project Assistant for the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. In 2014, they became a Data Analyst at TinyMob Games. In 2015, they worked as a Data Scientist at Pretio Interactive. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as a Data Scientist and Business Analyst. Finally, in 2019, they became a Lead Data Analyst and Senior Product Analyst, Team Lead at KIXEYE.

Alex Oswald has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from the University of Victoria, which they obtained between 2011 and 2014. Alex also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics and Mathematics from Illinois State University, which they obtained between 2006 and 2010. Alex also attended Boğaziçi University in 2009, studying Economics, Mathematics, and Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies. Additionally, Alex Oswald has obtained a number of certifications from Coursera Course Certificates, including Exploratory Data Analysis (April 2016), Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) (April 2016), R Programming (February 2016), and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox (August 2015).
