Kamalendu Ghosh is a Research Scientist at KLA since December 2022, specializing in the development of physics-based mathematical models for predicting and controlling variability in semiconductor manufacturing processes. Previously, Kamalendu served as a PhD Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2016 to November 2022, focusing on the mechanics of elastomers and contributing to various theoretical and numerical modeling projects. Kamalendu held roles as an FEA Engineering Intern at ASML and Structural Engineer at Thornton Tomasetti, where design reviews and structural analysis for major projects were conducted. Kamalendu completed a PhD in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and dual degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
