Rory manages accounting and finance for KlarisIP.

With 20 years of experience steering forward-thinking, sophisticated financial planning and management, she has held lead roles within the media industry’s top brands, including The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Wired, and GQ. At these publications, and some standalone digital properties, Rory oversaw accounting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, compensation planning and business operations.

She has extensive experience partnering with media executives and business leaders providing clear financial insights integral to intelligent business decisions. With leadership experience encompassing finance, operations, and management roles, Rory was selected in 2006 to join the core management team that launched Condé Nast Portfolio for what is considered to be the most successful print and digital launch in the history of the Condé Nast Publications. Rory has applied her skills and analytical acumen throughout her career to rise through the ranks of the rapidly evolving media landscape.

Rory is also a proud founding board member and two-term treasurer of Transport Group (a Drama Desk & Obie-winning non-profit theatre company) located in New York City where she lives. She has also been an instructor at NYU’s Summer Publishing Institute.
