Germán Puente has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Germán most recently worked at Klarna as the Market Owner - Customer Operations, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they were the Global Head of Customer Support at Bolt from November 2021 to May 2022. Germán also held positions at Glovo as the Regional Head Live Operations - SWE from June 2020 to December 2021, and as the Global Outsourcing and Vendor Manager from September 2019 to May 2020. Before joining Glovo, they served as the Community Operations Manager - EMEA at Uber from September 2018 to September 2019. Germán's work experience also includes a role at Booking.com as the Customer Operations Lead from June 2014 to September 2018, and at NGA Human Resources as the Shared Service Center Offshore Manager from July 2013 to May 2014, and as the Credit Controller from September 2011 to July 2013.

Germán Puente obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in International Business Management from the University of Derby, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Germán later pursued a Master's degree in Marketing Management & Advertising at the same university, which they completed in 2011. In 2015 and 2016, Germán Puente furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Executive Coaching at the HighDevelop Business School.
