Marco Zani

Marco Zani has a diverse work experience in product design and co-founding a company. Marco is currently working at Klarna as the Lead Product Designer, having started in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Klarna as a Senior Product Designer from October 2021 to May 2023. Before joining Klarna, they worked at lastminute.com as a Senior UI/UX Designer from January 2020 to October 2021. Marco also co-founded a company called iterspace in 2019, which was acquired by UNGUESS in 2021. In their role as Co-Founder, they were involved in developing a platform for teams to share feedback and report bugs. Prior to that, they worked at Eidoo as a UI/UX Designer from May 2018 to January 2020, where they led the design of the Eidoo blockchain wallet and conducted research activities. Before that, they worked at Cloud Academy, Inc. as a UI/UX Designer from February 2016 to April 2018, where they led the creation of a consistent design system across platforms and collaborated with product managers, developers, and QA. Their first experience in digital product design was at Fubles.com, where they worked as a UI/UX Designer from January 2014 to January 2016, gaining experience in designing engaging experiences for web and mobile platforms.

Marco Zani obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design from the Istituto Europeo di Design, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Marco has also obtained additional certifications, including becoming a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance in September 2019. Marco also completed a course on Gamification & Behavioral Design: The Octalysis Framework from The Octalysis Group in August 2019. Furthermore, Marco achieved distinction in the course on Conducting Usability Testing from The Interaction Design Foundation, placing in the top 10% of the class in October 2017. Additionally, they have acquired the certification of Google Analytics for Power Users from Google in May 2019.
